After studying at the ITHQ, Jean-François Archambault quickly became a manager in the hotel industry. In 2002, he presented his food recovery idea to feed people in need. Through La Tablée des Chefs, Jean-François brings chefs and cooks together to address the issue of hunger.
Each year, the organization feeds more than 1 million people through its food recovery program, in addition to reaching more than 4,000 young people with its various culinary programs, such as the Kitchen Brigades.
In the spring of 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, he quickly organized the Solidarity Kitchens project with the involvement of numerous industry partners to produce meals for the country's food banks. To date, more than 4.2 million meals have been prepared since the beginning of the crisis.
